Music for Theatre and Film

Almost, Maine by John Cariani
Rubicon Theatre
Directed by Stephanie Coltrin

For this ensemble love story, I used mostly synth pads and ethereal sounds for the “magic moments”. For the very end, I recorded vocals to give new dimension to the theme.

The Deck
Directed by Iris Gonzalez

The Deck is a romcom short film about the in and out-of-game choices of roleplaying friends. This is a medley of different moments in the film.

The Last Lifeboat by Luke Yankee
Yankee Hill Productions
Directed by Don Hill
This is the ending theme for Luke Yankee’s The Last Lifeboat, the story of builder J. Bruce Ismay and his life after the sinking of the Titanic. The sound design and incidental music can be rented at Dramatists.

Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill
Pomona College
Directed by Margaret Starbuck

For this modern adaptation of the classic Austen play, I got to mashup classical ideas with more modern electronic music. These three tracks underscored one of the ball scenes, with choreography and dialogue throughout.
